  • What is a Finnish sauna?
A Finnish sauna is a traditional dry sauna that uses high heat (typically 70–100 °C) with low humidity. The heat comes from heated stones, which can be sprinkled with water to create steam and briefly raise humidity.
  • What is the difference between a Finnish sauna and an infrared sauna?
A Finnish sauna heats the air in the whole room, creating an intense, full-body heat experience. An infrared sauna uses infrared light to heat the body directly, at lower temperatures.
  • How often should I use a sauna?
2–3 times per week is ideal for most people, but this varies depending on your health and goals. Regular sauna use supports immunity, circulation, relaxation, and detoxification.
  • Is sauna use safe for everyone?
Most people can use saunas safely, but pregnant women and individuals with cardiovascular conditions or other health concerns should consult a doctor first.
  • How long does it take to heat up the sauna?
A Finnish sauna typically heats up in 30–45 minutes, depending on the type and power of the heater.
  • How do I maintain the wooden parts of the sauna?
After each use, ventilate the sauna and wipe down benches. Clean regularly with a mild soap. Avoid harsh chemicals.
